Diamonds are forever....or at least they can be with some due care and attention. Your jewellery is an investment so it is important to keep your pieces clean and in good repair. Metals will wear over time leading to loose settings. You should have the pieces you value most, or that have the most value, inspected once a year for worn or cracked prongs, faulty clasps or other possible problems. The old adage is true, "A stitch in time can save nine."
