If your House Insurance includes contents then most definitely! (Make sure it covers things like Jewellery) An Appraisal Certificate will include a description of the piece, a photograph and the replacement value - the important information when making an insurance claim. If your pieces are particularly valuable it may be wise to have them individually insured. Talk to your Insurance Broker.
